It's a Boy

In 5 more months, it will be a much bigger, living outside in the real world boy. But right now, it's a very happy, very warm, very hungry 10 oz. baby boy with all the appropriate parts at all the appropriate sizes. Can't wait to meet you, son.

And, there's this movie. This week has been outlandishly busy. Still hammering out the shotlist for a couple of locations. What this entails is walking through each space, reading through the script and deciding all the places the camera should go for each scene. What this entails is figuring out what the scene is about, picturing it full of people and production design, moving the camera (which at this point is a down-turned 'hook 'em horns' sign facing whatever it is that we want to shoot) through the empty space, and then making sure that it will all cut together in a way that none of you will notice that we actually did any work except, of course, when we want you to.
