Denver Tornado

Sitting in the airport in Colorado surrounded by thick gray on all sides, thinking about my AD, Jared, and the mammoth SAT problem he has in front of him.

Take 52 scenes and put them in order over 18 days. Of your 24 actors, 1-3 can not be there from Pt. A to Pt. B. 7-10 are unavailable from Pt. B to Pt. C and 15-19 are unavailable from Pt. C to Pt.D. Every day that an actor is on set costs money so you want to have them on as few days as possible. Every time you have to move to a new set, it costs you time so you want to move as few times as possible. You can't shoot more than 7 pages in one day and you can only shoot at night at the end of each week.

Oh and the people who are bringing apples can't be in the same room as the people who are bringing oranges and the dog lovers can't be on the same train that left the station and so on and so forth.

I went in to rehearse with the 'Seniors', patted Jared on the back, wished him good luck and sent him off to the War Room where I imagine he has a big digital map of St. Mary's College that beeps and pings on command.

Got our first song request approved today which really only means that Chrysalis says it's okay for us to pay them to use their music. But I imagine that it means that Billy Bragg personally looked over my proposal and said (in accent) "seems like a good bloke, let's give it a go!" Thanks, Billy. I promise we'll make you proud.
