A Big Week

This week I handed in my first two festival applications, a grant application, had our first screening for the public (10 friends and crew members, but still), put Fifth Form up on Facebook as a Group and a Cause and coordinated with the SF Film Society to take full advantage of their advisory board of established filmmakers.

The screening went well. Sound and pacing (or passage of time, depending on how you look at it) are our two big hurdles and we knew that. Randy is holed up in his room working on our final score which will solve alot of problems because there are some scenes that aren't playing right because of our temp music. And we're calling in the actors this month to rerecord dialogue which will make an even bigger difference because then you'll be able to hear everything.

As to Facebook, in my neverending quest to fully finance Fifth Form, I've gone to the world. Please if you're a member of Facebook already, seek out my Group and Cause, become a member and ask everyone you know to become a member and then perhaps, $25 at a time, we'll reach our goal. And if you're not a member of Facebook, what are you waiting for? Don't you have a high school girlfriend that you need to get in touch with?
