Lock It Up

Picture is locked. This week will be devoted to round the clock sound building. Footsteps, doors opening, ambience, etc. I've overseen some and it sounds great. The details really make the difference in building the world.

Randy (composer) is working at a blistering pace now that he has a finished film and now that I've made some decisions for him to work off of.

I think I mentioned last time that we had licensed music from unpublished artists. Very satisfying to actually be in touch with the artists who's music will be in the film. In fact, by chance, Bill (co-writer) knew one of the singers from another life and got to call her up and say, Hey, your song is in my movie.

Should hear from Portland this week and should have all the details worked out for the premiere.
